Murphy is a fantastic design professional. She has not only helped me design and decorate my own home, but has also helped several of my Real Estate clients. She is brilliant, creative, a great listener, punctual and extremely professional all around. As a Real Estate professional I have to be very careful about who I recommend and I honestly could not recommend Murphy highly enough.

You will not find a better design professional than Murphy Moon! Prior to meeting Murphy Moon, we bought nice furniture but it was always just that, a piece of furniture, and the items didn't contribute to an overall design aesthetic. Murphy Moon helped us turn our things into a beautiful home. She respects our taste, follows our style lead, and saves us time and money throughout the entire design process. Murphy Moon always picks the perfect pieces for our home, with an eye towards detail to make the room complete. We always receive compliments on our home when friends come over. I hate to give our secret away...

Working with Murphy is a wonderful and easy process. She takes time to listen and understand our style preferences. She makes suggestions and guides us on design without imposing her style on us. Murphy has an incredible eye for detail and has saved us countless dollars by helping us find the right pieces for our home the first time. We wouldn't dare remodel or redecorate without consulting Murphy Moon first. She is the most knowledgeable and talented design professional we've ever worked with.

I first used Murphy for apartment decorating years ago. She was so fabulous, I reached out to her again after we purchased our first home. I got so many compliments on my apartment's design and get even more with my new home. We started with initial interior decorating - furniture, repainting, things like that. Projects are still in progress - currently, we are remodeling some bathrooms, the kitchen cabinets, and parts of the living area - and when I tell friends we are remodeling, they are shocked: "but your house is gorgeous already!" She knows how to prioritize projects so that no one else notices the little things that bother you (like ugly bathrooms :). I love that Murphy has the eye to pull things together while still keeping the design authentic to the owner. I worked with a designer before Murphy who tried to throw out all my artwork and special pieces because it didn't fit with her vision. There are some pieces in my home I know are not Murphy's favorite but she figures out a way to make them work because she knows I love them. To me, that's a sign of a really great designer. I trust her completely, she has not steered me wrong thus far. In addition to my interior, she helped me pick a new exterior paint color. Eventually, we will do outdoor backyard/patio remodeling - she does it all! I can't recommend her enough.

If you are looking for a designer who has a great eye and is flexible and down-to-earth, Murphy is for you! We had not worked with a designer before and Murphy was simply fantastic. We have continued to keep in touch even after our large project was complete and have engaged her services for other projects as they came up. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Murphy Moon is a fantastic interior designer who happens to be strikingly good at couple's counseling. As new owners of a beautiful blank-slate home, my husband and I wanted to start the interior out right by coming up with a solid decorating plan. Unfortunately, with one of us favoring modern minimalism and the other preferring traditional with a touch of whimsy, we didn't get very far on our own. Enter Murphy Moon!

From the very start, Murphy helped us to identify styles we both loved and new ways to create a space that's functional, comfortable, cool and lovely. When we were unable to find pieces we both liked or with the ideal measurements, she simply designed them herself and had them made! And the few times we couldn't seem to agree on something, Murphy always had an entirely different idea in her back pocket that was inevitably perfect.

My favorite part about working with Murphy is that she approaches the project as a member of the team and inspires you to do the same. She doesn't try to take over or judge you or strong-arm you into anything. She listens to what you want, she helps you identify things you love and she works with you to create a space/a home/a plan that works. It sounds cliche, but she truly made our home a reflection of BOTH of us, only better.

Add to that her obsession with detail; fluency in all ten zillion paint colors, wallpapers and fabrics; cheerful disposition; and ability to stick to a budget and I think you'll see why we truly can't recommend Murphy enough. (Not to mention the added benefit of letting her deal with stores/etc. who don't hold up their end of the bargain. She's such a sweetheart, until you cross her or her client. It's AWESOME.)
